Transferring data from one Android phone to another can be an exciting process when you get a new device. Wondering how to transfer data from Android to Android? We’ve explained the process step by step on our Green Robot YouTube channel.
We’ve covered the step-by-step process of transferring data from Android to Android in the video. We demonstrate how data transfer is done between two different Android phones, such as Xiaomi 13 and Galaxy S24 Plus. While you can perform this process wirelessly or via cable, in this video, we focus on explaining the process of wired data transfer. Wireless data transfer can be done following the same steps, but it might take a bit longer depending on your internet speed.
In the video, we show how to transfer settings, accounts, and other essential data from the Xiaomi 13 to the Galaxy S24 Plus using a QR code scan during the initial setup of the S24 Plus. After scanning the code, settings, accounts, and other basic data from the Xiaomi phone will be transferred to the Galaxy S24 Plus. Then, we log in to Google accounts and transfer other important data such as photos and videos.
During this process, you don’t need to transfer the SIM card from your old phone to the new one. You can leave the SIM card transfer process for later. Additionally, when logging in to Google accounts, you may be prompted for SMS information, so keeping your SIM card in the old phone is important.
Once logged in to the Samsung S24 Plus, the transfer of all your data may take some time depending on the size of your data. After completion, you’ll see that all your settings and photos from your old phone are now available on your new phone. This way, you’ve successfully completed the process of transferring data from one Android phone to another.
