You can use the color filters feature on Windows 11 to improve the visibility of elements on your screen if you have a vision problem, or you can choose the filter you want. For example, for users with color blindness, the color filters can help distinguish the different colors on their screen and improves content visibility for users with light sensitivity.

To apply a color filter on Windows 11:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on Accessibility.
  3. Under the “Vision” section, click the Color filters page on the right side.

4. Turn the Color filters switch on.

5. Select a color filter from the list. Try each filter to see which one suits you best.

How to enable color filters shortcut

You have also access to have a shortcut that you can activate to turn the filters on or off without opening the Settings app on Windows 11.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on Accessibility.
  3. Under the “Vision” section, click the Color filters page on the right side.
  4. Turn on the “Keyboard shortcut for color filters” toggle switch.

You can now use the Windows key + Ctrl + C keyboard shortcut to enable or disable color filters after completing the steps.
