This new operating system brings significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency. Huawei claims that HarmonyOS NEXT provides 30% better performance and 20% lower energy consumption compared to previous versions. Additionally, with multi-device integration and built-in artificial intelligence features, it offers a smarter experience that can adapt to user needs.
Significant improvements have also been made in graphics and multimedia performance. With Ark Multimedia Engine and Ark Graphics Engine support, it delivers high-quality graphics and a rich media experience. The beta version is currently available for certain devices like the Mate 60 series, Mate X5, and MatePad Pro 13.2”. Huawei plans to roll out a wider beta version starting in August and expects to release the stable version in the last quarter of 2024.
Huawei aims to improve the operating system further based on user feedback during this process.
