The new foldable phone model Huawei Mate X6, which has a stylish design, was officially announced this week. But many people are wondering if this device is durable. Today, the brand has released a video to prove that despite being ultra-thin, this can also be a quality of its new smartphone. The device exceeded expectations in the endurance test! Here are the details…
Huawei Mate X6 passes the class in durability!
The video posted on Weibo shows various resistance tests on the Mate X6’s construction. It also highlights how its internal components, including the 3D vapour chamber, have been selected and positioned to dissipate heat more easily.
One of the tests involves hitting the open smartphone with a metal block, bending the rival mobile phone but keeping the Huawei Mate X6 intact. The same goes for the Kunlun Glass-protected external display when you look at the aluminium saw.
The most striking test comes out at the 3.30 minute mark of the video when the Huawei Mate X6 is fixed to a motorbike with steel cables and suspended on a metal structure. We can see that the phone does not break in half, but the brand does not show more details about the device used in the test. It only emphasises that the device is very durable in this regard.
Huawei Mate X6, which has up to 16 GB of RAM, comes with up to 1 TB of storage. Offering an 8 MP selfie camera on the front, the device comes with a 50 MP main camera, 40 MP ultra-wide sensor, 48 PM telephoto sensor with 4x optical zoom and infrared sensor on the back. Mate X6 with 66W fast charging support comes with a battery capacity of 5,110 mAh. The processor of the model running with HarmonyOS Next operating system has not yet been announced.
