Huawei will launch its first AI-powered laptop next month, featuring entirely its own components. The company’s new device will feature its own Kunpeng-920 processor. It was stated that the laptop will work integrated with Huawei’s artificial intelligence model DeepSeek.
Huawei is coming with its own computer
Huawei will focus more on local technologies with this move that will increase competition in the corporate computer market. The aim is to create a product that will not be affected by supply chain problems that may arise from global sanctions thanks to the use of in-house components. It was stated that the new model was designed especially for companies and corporate users.

The laptop will be positioned as part of Huawei’s Qingyun series. The model, which is stated to have a similar operation to Microsoft’s Copilot+ certified devices, will work with a PC-specific version of HarmonyOS. It is reported that the device will offer extreme AI support to perform different AI workloads.
The Kunpeng-920 processor that Huawei will use was developed with a 7nm production process. The processor, based on the ARMv8 architecture, can be used at different scales and has versions that can go up to 64 cores. It is said that the processor, which is also used in the server segment, will be available in this device with a version optimized for laptops.
Huawei is taking steps to popularize its own system in the laptop market by continuing its strategy of expanding the HarmonyOS ecosystem. The new model, supported by artificial intelligence, is expected to attract great interest in the Chinese market. So what do you think about this?
