Huawei continues to work to regain its market share in the industry. While the Chinese manufacturer has been working on the P70 series, which is expected to be price-performance oriented for a while, it is preparing to make the official announcement very soon. New details about the Huawei P70 series screen have emerged.
Huawei P70 series screen features
According to the latest leaks, Huawei is preparing to launch its next-generation flagship P70 series in the first half of the year. Months before the launch, the technical specifications of the P70 models have emerged. Reports indicate that the P70 family will feature a curved 1.5K LTPO display between 6.58 and 6.8 inches.
Huawei will also reportedly add satellite communication support to the P70 models right after the Mate 60 series. This feature makes it possible to establish voice/text communication directly via satellite in areas where cellular connectivity is not sufficient.
There will reportedly be noticeable differences in processing power between the standard and Pro models. Leaks from China have suggested that they will be powered by the unannounced Kirin 9000 series chipset. New details suggest different CPU frequencies for the standard and Pro variants.
For comparison, the Mate 60 models featured the Kirin 9000S chipset with an 8-core and 12-thread CPU. Graphics were handled by Huawei’s MariSilicon X processor. It is possible that the P70 will get an upgraded version of this platform.
It is not clear for now when the Huawei P70 family will be introduced. However, according to information from sources close to the company, it will adopt a similar promotion schedule to its predecessors and will be showcased in the first half of 2024.
