Peugeot is taking an important step in the Turkish automotive market in the second half of 2025. Having broken sales records in the first six months of the year, the French manufacturer is preparing to launch the Peugeot 3008 model with a plug-in hybrid engine in Turkey in September. The model is expected to further strengthen its position in the market with the 30% Special Consumption Tax advantage from the special tax brackets applied to electric vehicles.
Peugeot 3008 with a hybrid engine will come to Turkey
Peugeot Turkey Brand Director Gupse Kaplan announced the details about the new model. The hybrid version of the 3008 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of an electric motor working together with a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine.

Offering a total of 195 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, this system presents an ambitious structure in terms of both performance and efficiency. The model will go on sale in September; the pre-order process will begin in July and August.
The new Peugeot 3008 will be offered in two trim levels in the Turkish market: Allure and GT. The Allure trim is being offered for pre-sale at a price of 2 million 110 thousand TL as a special launch. The price of the GT version has not been announced yet. The model benefiting from the tax advantage may provide a significant competitive advantage in this price range.
The technical features of the vehicle offer an experience close to the top level in the hybrid class. Equipped with a 17.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, the model offers a pure electric range ranging from 63 to 88 kilometers according to WLTP standards.
These values are at a level that can provide full electric use in urban driving. The battery can be fully charged in approximately 5.5 hours with AC charging. The transmission system of the model is supported by the e-DSC7 automatic transmission.
It is stated that Peugeot is not limited to just the 3008, but is also working on rechargeable hybrid options for the 5008 and 408 models. Gupse Kaplan stated that studies on these models are ongoing both in Turkey and globally, but some issues are not yet clear. The company is also continuing its studies on long-range fully electric models. However, there is no concrete launch plan for the Turkish market in this segment in 2025.
The hybrid version of the Peugeot 3008 is positioned to meet the increasing demand for hybrid vehicles in Turkey, especially with its inclusion in the 30% SCT bracket and electric driving range. When the model is launched, it will stand out as a strong alternative to both internal combustion and electric vehicles.
