The first images of Xiaomi’s new Android 16-based user interface HyperOS 3.0 have leaked onto the internet. The system, which is expected to be introduced with the Xiaomi 16 series in October 2025, includes significant changes in terms of design language.
HyperOS 3.0 design has been revealed
The new interface, which resembles Apple’s “Liquid Glass” style, draws attention especially with its matte blur effects and glossy icons. The approach, which focuses on readability and interface depth instead of visual density, shows that Xiaomi is aiming to offer a more refined user experience compared to its previous versions.

The icons have been simplified throughout the system. The Control Center has been redesigned and the visual consistency between system applications has been increased. Small details such as updated battery and Wi-Fi icons, the new glass-like search bar and background transition effects strengthen the overall sense of integrity. A low-key but technically functional line was preferred in appearance. The design, which focuses on the general sense of use of the system instead of eye-catching animations, makes the interface quieter but more effective.
Although the new version has not yet been officially introduced, some users have started to experience the early version of HyperOS 3 with third-party software. Some visual features of the new theme can be accessed with tools such as MemeOS Enhancer. A special tracking platform called HyperOSUpdates.com is also active for those who want to follow the developments.
Xiaomi is trying to differentiate itself visually between Android user interfaces with HyperOS 3. Simplified icons, smoother transitions and attention to detail indicate that the general design concept of the system has been reshaped. Eyes are turned to the launch in October for the official introduction of the new interface.
