There have been concrete developments regarding Samsung’s repeatedly delayed One UI 7 update. The South Korean company plans to start the beta testing phase in the coming days, with some reports suggesting it could begin today. So, which countries will the company conduct tests in? Here are the details!
Which countries will receive the One UI 7.0 beta?
Many leaks regarding One UI 7 have surfaced up until now. However, since most of these leaks were not accurate, there have been many questions among users about which models will be included in the testing program and in which countries the tests will take place.
According to SamMobile, which is close to the company, the tests are expected to begin either today or in the next few days. Initially, Samsung’s current flagship models, the Galaxy S24 series, are expected to join the program.
The first phase of testing will be conducted in Germany, South Korea, and the United States. These three countries traditionally receive One UI updates before others. In the second phase, the United Kingdom, India, Poland, and China will be added.
After the Galaxy S24 series, the beta update will be made available for the Galaxy S23 models in the listed countries. Although it is not confirmed, it is not expected that the Galaxy S23 FE/S24 FE and Galaxy S21 series will be included in this testing program.
However, this does not mean that these models will not receive the stable release, which is expected to launch in February 2025. Samsung usually prefers to limit the beta tests to a few models.
