Instagram Adds Reels Video Download Feature!

A few weeks ago, the company tested the option to hide the “seen” status for direct messages, and now they have released the video download feature.
Instagram users can now easily download Reels videos with a single tap without the need for third-party apps. This innovation announced by Instagram’s Head, Adam Mosseri, has received positive feedback from users.

According to the information provided, users can only download Reels videos from public accounts. This feature is disabled for private accounts. Additionally, public accounts can choose to disable video downloads if they prefer.
Downloaded Reels videos contain a watermark that displays the user’s account, similar to how it is on TikTok. This way, the original creator of the content can be identified.
