Subscriber-only content diversifies on Instagram
There are 4 new subscriber benefits that Ig content producers can offer their subscribers. Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri announced the update with a video he posted on the platform:
These new subscriber benefits include subscriber-only chats with the creators, access to subscriber-only Reels and Posts, and a new Subscriber Home tab. Subscriber chats will be conducted via DM and will support 30 subscribers simultaneously. Instagram allows creators to share subscriber-only reels, stories, and posts. The update will also include special badges for subscribers. The key innovations are as follows:
- Exclusive Chats
Party chats can be created directly from a creator’s inbox or story. Also, the end automatically after 24 hours, so creators can maintain balance and decide when and how to engage with subscribers. Subscriber chats can support up to 30 people, so creators can connect with subscribers at the moment and bring them together.
- Exclusive posts and Reels
Content that lives on creators’ profiles is crucial to attracting new subscribers and retaining the community. Instagram is introducing unique content such as posts or Reels so subscribers can engage in the comments.
- Exclusive Home
The exclusive tab on the user’s profile includes all things Subscriptions, from exclusive content, saving their subscriber-only Lives, to sharing entire feed posts and reels.
Another change will be the subscriber home page of content producers. The subscriber home page icon is expected to be in the shape of a crown. When content production is becoming popular, and opponents are increasing, Instagram comes up with such an innovation.
