In the new period, Altera; It plans to expand in growing markets such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, edge systems and next-generation wireless networks, while also aiming to double its sales in its current areas of activity, such as automotive, aviation and communications.
On the Intel side, the company’s new CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, took office in March. Tan wants to restructure the company after the departure of his predecessor, Pat Gelsinger. The company’s strategy from now on will be to focus on core areas such as CPU, GPU, supporting platforms and chip manufacturing.
