Intel has clarified the launch schedule of its next-generation Core Ultra 300 series Panther Lake processors. According to the updated roadmap shared by the company, volume production of the Panther Lake platform will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Intel Panther Lake processors are on display
However, before the production process, Intel will conduct a test phase called the “Early Activation Program” (EEP). This phase is planned to begin in the second half of 2025. Panther Lake is expected to bring significant changes to the mobile processor segment.

According to the leaked information, Cougar Cove and Skymont cores will be used in this series. It is stated that the new generation CPU architecture will offer higher performance and improved power efficiency compared to previous generations. On the graphics side, it has been confirmed that the integrated Xe3 “Celestial” GPU will be used.
Intel announced that although Panther Lake shares similarities with Lunar Lake, the two platforms are not directly connected. While Lunar Lake has a MoP design that includes a memory module, such a structure will not be preferred in Panther Lake.
Intel’s new platform will use the 18A manufacturing process. This new process aims to both increase energy efficiency and provide higher performance. What kind of innovations the new processors will offer in terms of performance and efficiency will become fully clear in the upcoming testing stages.
It is eagerly awaited how Panther Lake will affect Intel’s competitive power in the processor market. So what do you think about this subject? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
