The tech world is buzzing about the performance results of Intel’s next-generation processors Arrow Lake-S. Leaked CPU-Z benchmarks show that Arrow Lake-S could give the current flagship processor Core i9-13900K a significant edge.
Intel Arrow Lake-S performance results revealed
Intel has started testing its Arrow Lake-S processors. The performance reports of the engineering sample processors leaked to the internet are remarkable. Intel is likely to beat Qualcomm and AMD in single-threaded performance.
CPU-Z tests of the unspecified Arrow Lake-S processor have leaked online. Accordingly, it scored 1143.2 points in single-threaded tests. This represents a 26 percent performance increase over the 13th Generation Core i9-13900K, which scored 902 points in the same test.
The exact specifications of the leaked Arrow Lake-S ES are unknown. However, the single-threaded result suggests that Lion Cove P cores will do a great job. Compared to Raptor Cove, which is currently used in Generation 13 processors, it is possible to say that it will be better in performance per core.
On the other hand, the Arrow Lake-S ES model lagged behind the i9-13900K by 22 percent in CPU-Z multi-threaded tests. The 13th Gen flagship scored 16,922 points, while the engineering sample was at 12,922 points. However, this is thought to be due to the difference in the number of cores between the chips.
The i9-13900K has a total of 24 cores and 32 threads, while the Arrow Lake model is expected to include 8 performance and 16 efficient cores.
