iOS 16.4 Beta adds 31 new emoji characters

One of the most expected features of the new Beta update is the new emojis. According to release notes, Apple brings the Unicode 15 emoji characters via the new iOS 16.4 Beta. The new update adds several new emoji options, including flute, jellyfish, pink heart, blue heart, gray heart, donkey, moose, pea pod, and a few of left and right-facing hand emojis.

Web Push Notifications on iPhone and iPad

For a long time, users waited for improvements on Safari. Now, the new Beta version brings Safari Web Push Notifications on iOS and iPad devices. Thanks to the new feature, you can subscribe to a web app to receive push notifications on your device. The Web app notifications can be managed in the Notifications settings, just like other Notification settings. You can now add a website to your Home Screen to receive push notifications.

The new iOS 16.4 Beta also brings a lot of new features like the Podcasts app. Thanks to the Podcasts app, you can access the Channels. Channels access is now available in the Library, and you can resume episodes, start saved episodes, and remove episodes via the Up Next feature.

Apple will release the iOS 16.4, iPadOS 16.4, and macOS Ventura 13.3 updates in the spring, which means it could be released between March 20 and June 20.
