Apple announced a series of new products and software at its WWDC 2023 event held on June 6. The range of new products, from Macs to augmented reality glasses, excited users. The focus of iPhone owners was on the iOS 17 update. The update, which will be available in the coming months, is currently in the Beta stage.
iOS 17 Beta 2 includes the new AirDrop feature
Apple launched the iOS 17 Beta program earlier this month and has also distributed the second program to test users. The new update showcases some minor changes. In addition to a redesigned update screen, some of the features mentioned during the announcement event have also come to light.
iOS 17 Beta 2 includes a new AirDrop feature for file transfer. Additionally, there is a Micro Location option that will provide more detailed location data. Another innovation has taken place in the Sleep Mode section. The mode now supports the option to turn off all notifications, except for selected ones.

With iOS 17, you can wirelessly transfer data on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices using NameDrop. You can also check-in with iMessage, leave video messages during unanswered FaceTime calls, and enjoy many other innovations, including the ability to share your AirTag with up to five people through family sharing.
