Apple has already started internal testing on the iOS 18.3.1 update, according to the latest information. Judging by the data spotted by MacRumors, this version, which has not yet been announced, will offer security patches and optimizations to iPhone users. So, what other innovations can we expect? Details in our news…
Apple is working on iOS 18.3.1: Update coming soon
First of all, iOS 18.3.1 is expected to be released directly to users without going through a significant beta process. As you may know, Apple usually skips beta testing for small updates and relies solely on internal testing. Therefore, the update is expected to focus on security improvements and bug fixes.

It is also possible that notification summaries for news and entertainment apps, which were disabled with iOS 18.3, may be re-enabled. However, Apple has not yet made an official statement on this issue. iOS 18.3.1 is not expected to undergo a very long testing process and is likely to be released in the next few weeks.
We can say that the update will come to iPads simultaneously with iPadOS 18.3.1. On the other hand, Apple has also started preparations for iOS 18.4. The first beta is expected to be available to developers in late February. iOS 18.4:
- Apple Intelligence-based enhancements for Siri,
- New emojis
- Default app change for map and translation apps in Europe,
- Various other improvements
such innovations are rumored to come. Based on the information on Apple’s website, we expect iOS 18.4 to be officially released in April. What do you think about iOS 18.3.1 and iOS 18.4 updates? You can share your opinions in the comments section below…
