iOS 18.4 Beta 1 has been released! Here are the new features

Apple has released iOS 18.4 Beta 1 to developers. With the new version comes Siri improvements and much more in Apple Intelligence. According to Apple, the update expands Apple Intelligence with new languages and will be available in April with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Apple has released iOS 18.4 Beta 1: Siri gets new AI-powered features

iOS 18.4 brings three major AI-powered improvements to Siri. These include:

Screen awareness: Siri can now better understand the content on your screen. For example, when a friend texts you their new address, you can say “Add this address to your contact card” and Siri will automatically save it.
Personal context awareness: Siri will be better able to process information from your device to make personalized recommendations. For example, if you don’t remember whether a friend sent you a recipe by email, text or shared it in the Notes app, Siri will find it for you.
Actions between apps: Siri can now make smarter transitions between apps. For example, by saying “Send draft email to Suleyman and Muharrem”, you can have Siri find and send a specific email. It will also be possible to have Siri edit a photo and add it to the Notes app.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that Apple is facing some delays in the development of these features. Therefore, it is not certain whether all of these innovations will be active in the first beta of iOS 18.4. Apple says Siri will gain more capabilities in the coming months.

Apple Intelligence will be expanded to French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Special English variants for Singapore and India will also be supported. Turkish language support is still not on the horizon.

These languages will be available globally in April with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Developers can start testing these updates starting today. Apple has not yet announced exactly what else will come with iOS 18.4. However, more details will be revealed as the beta process progresses.
