The countdown for the WWDC 2025 conference, where iOS 19 is expected to be unveiled, has officially begun. Users are eager to know what the update will bring, and many sources are clearing up some of the questions in people’s minds. The latest reports claim that iOS 19 will not deliver some of the expected new features.
iOS 19 Will Not Bring Major AI Innovations
According to reliable industry sources, including Mark Gurman, Apple’s upcoming iOS 19 update will focus more on expanding the existing Apple Intelligence capabilities rather than introducing groundbreaking new features. The company’s plan seems to be to extend the current AI features to more applications and, in short, spread them throughout the ecosystem.

Gurman’s statement on the matter is as follows:
“The bad news is that it’s unlikely Apple will announce groundbreaking new AI features at this upcoming WWDC. Instead, they will likely present plans to bring more of their current capabilities to a wider range of apps.”
