We are two days away from the Apple “Far Out” September event. The tech giant will launch the new iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro 2, and probably more. Today, a post was shared on the Chinese social media app Weibo, showing the iPhone 14’s prices and complete specifications.
iPhone 14 series is on pre-sale in China
According to the images from Weibo, the prices of the iPhone 14 series are higher than expected. However, it is important to remember that this is the pre-sale scalper price. Also, other things like specifications and names were revealed. Seems like there is no “Max” model this year, instead the “Plus” will return.
According to the list of Chinese sellers, the pre-sale price of the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 starts at 6,699 yuan ($971). However, the pre-sale price of the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus starts at 7,399 yuan ($1,072). While the pre-sale of the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro starts at 9,899 yuan ($1,435), the pre-sale price starts at 10,899 yuan ($1580) for the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The prices are a bit higher than expected, but we still should wait until the official prices before making a decision. Additionally, we can see that Pro models will have the new A16 chipset with 6GB DDR5 RAM, while the standard models come with A15 DDR4X 6GB RAM. Also, Pro models will have a 48-megapixel 8K camera, while the standard models come with a 12-megapixel 4K camera.
Also, we could be sure anymore that there is not a mini model for iPhone 14. Apple may have finished the mini model because of its low selling rates.
