Although the iPhone 14 series has just been released, but eyes are already on the next iPhone series. The iPhone 15 series is expected to be available in September 2023. We have gathered rumors for you about iPhone 15 family. Here’s what Apple has planned for the series.
Pro models might be powered by A17 Bionic
The iPhone 15 family will come in a total of four models. Two of which will be Pro (with the possibility of the Pro Max coming in ‘Ultra’). Also, only the Pro models will feature Apple’s latest processor, just like the iPhone 14 series. Accordingly, the Pro models of the series will be powered by the A17 Bionic. While the other models may have the A16.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) could share an 8GB RAM count, eclipsing the entire iPhone 14 lineup. It was reported that other 15 models may continue to have 6 GB RAM. The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) may have a periscope telephoto lens on the back of the Pro Max (or Ultra) model and a super-advanced 8P design.
iPhone 15 series might get a USB-C charging port
The European Union has decided to make USB-C the standard charging port for various electronic devices, including smartphones like the iPhone. For this reason, Apple had to comply with the law and decided to change the charging ports. The EU’s deadline is 2024 for the switch. So the iPhone 15 could have a USB-C charging port, but Apple could also wait for the deadline.
Finally, the odds of any of these four variants integrating an Apple-made 5G modem in addition to an Apple-made CPU and GPU are slim, although that could very well change when it comes to the iPhone 16 family in 2024.
These are the predictions about iPhone 15 Pro models for the moment. We will continue to share with you when new rumors emerge. What is your thought about these rumors? You can share with us in the comment section.
