Ana sayfa / Smartphones

The iPhone 15 series has been no exception. While the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models offer a 120Hz display thanks to ProMotion, the standard models still support a 60Hz refresh rate. However, Apple may change this for the iPhone 16 family.

iPhone 16 series allegedly switches to 120Hz display

Apple’s high-refresh rate ProMotion display technology is currently only available on the iPhone 15 Pro. A new rumor suggests that it could be standard on the iPhone 16 next year. That means all models will have a 120Hz refresh rate.

New information from China has revealed that the iPhone 16 will use a display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This will be a noticeable upgrade compared to the 60Hz panels of the iPhone 15 series.

iPhone 12 sales could be banned in Europe after 3 years

iPhone 12 has mobilized European countries after three years. It is thought that it does not comply with the radiation limit set for the EU.

On the other hand, another display analyst said that Apple will wait another year to bring ProMotion to the standard iPhone lineup. This means that models with a 120Hz refresh rate could be available with the iPhone 17.

Another leak also reported that the 5x zoom sensor, currently only available on the Pro Max model, will be on all iPhone 16 models. If you want better long-range and don’t want to spend a lot of money on a Pro Max phone, you can already wait for the iPhone 16 family.

On the Android side, 120Hz displays have become standard even in mid-level devices. Many models at the 300-500 dollar level use 120Hz OLED displays.
