The long-awaited iPhone 16 series was finally officially introduced. Apple, which drew attention last year by using the USB-C port, this time managed to attract the attention of users with a special shutter button that makes it easier to take photos. However, the real innovations of the iPhone 16 series are not limited to what’s on the surface. There is much more in the depths. So, what technical specifications does the iPhone 16 Pro come with and how much will it cost in Turkey? Here are the iPhone 16 Pro features and price!
iPhone 16 Pro features and price!
iPhone 16 Pro, the most powerful smartphone of the iPhone 16 series and the most powerful smartphone Apple has ever introduced, comes with many innovations. At the top of the list is the new A18 Pro processor from the 3-nanometer production line.
This year, Apple squeezed the juice out of the 3-nanometer production line and created a processor that will be remembered for its power for many years. For the first time in A-series processors, we saw cores clocked at over 4 GHz. The general arrangement is 2 x 4.05 GHz performance cores and 4 efficiency cores.
Another innovation is on the display side. We now see a screen size of 6.9 inches, not 6.7 inches, in Pro Max models, the largest of the series. Although this difference seems too small to be understood from a distance, the feeling in the hand is quite obvious. The dimensions of the device are 163 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm. So it is both longer and wider than its predecessor.
When we look at the other screen features, we are greeted by an LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel. All the features we saw in the previous generation such as 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Always-On and Dolby Vision continue here. In addition, with the growth of the screen, the screen case ratio increased from 89.8 percent to 92 percent. The resolution of this panel with 460 ppi pixel density is 1328 x 2878 pixels.
Let’s come to the camera features that many people will prefer when buying. First of all, we see the main camera with 48 Megapixel resolution and f/1.8 aperture that we see in iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Next to it is a 12 Megapixel periscope telephoto camera with f/2.8 aperture and 5x optical zoom, which is also found in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The expected change meets us in the 3rd camera.
There is no longer a 12 Megapixel wide angle camera. Instead, there is a 48 Megapixel wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. But there is another important change in the camera specs.
Harnessing the power of the new A18 Pro processor and intelligence, Apple now allows video recording at up to 4K 120 FPS, not 4K 60 FPS. In addition, it now supports the JPEG-XL format. On the front, we are greeted by the 12 Megapixel selfie camera capable of recording 4K 60 FPS video, which we also see on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Of course, while talking about the camera features, we cannot pass without mentioning the device’s new physical shutter button. Positioned on the right side of the device under the power button, this new button is physical but also pressure-resistant. You can focus on the image with a light press and zoom in and out by sliding your finger left and right.
When we look at the connection features, we see that some innovations welcome us again. The first among these is that Wi-Fi 6E is no longer used, but Wi-Fi 7. In this way, the highest wireless connection speed increases from 9.6 Gbps to 46 Gbps.
But this is not the most important and useful feature of Wi-Fi 7. Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 6 and other predecessors could only use one Wi-Fi band at a time. For example, if you were connected to the 5GHz band, you couldn’t connect to the 2.4GHz band at the same time.
