While Apple is expected to unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 17 series on September 9th, Caviar, known for its luxury smartphone designs, hasn’t broken tradition and is already taking action. The company has designed a special edition for the phone, which isn’t officially available yet, and has made the 24-karat gold-plated iPhone 17 Pro model, dubbed Russian Roulette, available for pre-order starting at approximately 450,000 Turkish Lira.

As its name suggests, the phone, inspired by the deadly game of chance, features a revolver chamber on its back. A single bullet is placed in the chamber to complete the design, while the top and bottom of the panel are also adorned with bullet motifs.

Caviar describes this design, which it describes as the flagship of the brand’s “Desperado” collection, as “a bold symbol of risk, determination, and the courage to dare everything. Russian roulette is not for the cautious, but for those who understand the courage to win. Because luck only pursues the fearless.” He describes it as follows.
Those who want this bold design will need to set aside a substantial budget. The starting price for the “Russian Roulette” version of the iPhone 17 Pro is set at $10,990 (approximately 450,000 Turkish Lira). Those who want the larger-screen Pro Max model will have to shell out $11,490 (approximately 471,000 Turkish Lira). Caviar also notes that the same design is available for the current iPhone 16 Pro, starting at $9,990.
Following Apple’s official launch, the company will ship orders to customers who purchase a standard iPhone 17 Pro and replace the back panel with this special design. This move is seen as part of a strategy to attract attention ahead of one of the tech world’s biggest launches.
