Apple’s highly-anticipated affordable iPhone SE 4 could be unveiled in March, with a price tag around 40% cheaper than the iPhone 16. However, it is stated that the new model will be 15% more expensive than the previous iPhone SE. So will the SE 4 be as cheap as we expect? Here are the details…
iPhone SE 4 could be 40% cheaper than the 16!
Talking a bit about the hardware, the new iPhone SE 4 will have the same A18 chip as the 16 series and will come with a 48 MP main camera. However, contrary to previous leaks, it will allegedly not feature Dynamic Island and will return to a notched screen design. The device is expected to measure 146.7 x 71.5mm, the same dimensions as the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14.

As for price, according to Mark Gurman, the SE 4 will retail for around $500 in the US. That’s a starting price that’s 40% cheaper than the iPhone 16, but 15% more expensive than the previous SE model. We expect Apple to unveil the iPhone SE 4 after the launch of the Powerbeats Pro 2.
In short, the new model may come with a price that will satisfy users who want an affordable iPhone. But even though it’s cheap, Apple’s decision not to include premium features like Dynamic Island in this series may disappoint some users.
