While there are a lot of smartphones, the iQOO is preparing to launch more devices. In China, the company is claimed to be gearing up to announce the Z8 series of smartphones, which will be the successor to the Z7 series. iQOO launched the Z7 series back in March, so we can assume that we are far away from the launch of the upcoming iQOO Z8 series, but the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x spotted at Geekbench with key specs. Here are the details about the iQOO Z8 series Geekbench results…
iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x will be powered by different chipsets
Although the company hasn’t completed the Z7 series, the Z8 series revealed on Geekbench. iQOO will launch the iQOO Z7 Pro soon, according to an official teaser, but now the leaks show that the iQOO Z8 series is on the way. According to the leaks, the expected phone series is now under different names, the vivo V2314A (Z8) and the vivo V2312A (Z8x).
When we look at the leaked specs of the devices, we can see that the Z8 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On the other side, the Z8x is expected to have the rare Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB of RAM. We can understand that the Z8 will be a mid-range smartphone with its specs.
We already saw that the Neo7 and the Neo7 SE used the Dimensity 8200, but iQOO didn’t launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 yet, so the first will likely be the iQOO Z8x. According to the rumors, the Z8 will feature a FHD+ 144Hz LCD screen and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
While both devices are expected to run Android 13 out of the box, the iQOO Z8x will have a FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The rumors claim that the upcoming phone series will be available in September in China.
