For a long time, iQOO has been expected to announce its upcoming mid-range smartphones, the iQOO Z8 and Z8x. iQOO Z8 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC
Although there are not many details about the upcoming devices, the teaser gives some clues such as dual rear cameras, OIS, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and an infrared sensor. On the other side, there are a lot of rumors about the iQOO Z8, and the phone is claimed to have MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
However, the company doesn’t share the images of the iQOO Z8x, but online listings have confirmed some key specs, including a 6,000mAh battery. Also, earlier benchmark leaks showed that the Z8x will have a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM, and it will run Android 13.
The Z8 will have 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage options. Both the iQOO Z8 and Z8x will feature a 6.64-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla model will have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast flash charging support, compared to the Z8x’s 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
