HTC is trying to return to its old days in the smartphone world. A new model of the HTC U23 Pro, which was first introduced last year, seems to be coming. Leaks on Google Play Console have revealed the technical specifications of the HTC U24 Pro model.
HTC U24 Pro on the horizon
According to Google Play Console, the U24 Pro will offer more powerful features than last year’s device. It will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The device will also feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2436 pixel resolution and 480 DPI pixel density.
U24 Pro will increase its performance with 12GB RAM; It will stand out with a mid-range processor. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has an octa-core configuration with four high-performance Kryo 7 cores running at up to 2.2GHz and four efficient cores running at 1.8GHz.
The U24 Pro is expected to run Android 14 out of the box. It is also possible that HTC will offer Android upgrades for three years.
Play Console also revealed the phone’s design. It has a curved display with thin bezels and a selfie camera embedded in the screen. The volume and power keys are on the right side.
Last year’s U23 Pro featured a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. With 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options accompanied by 256 GB storage, HTC U23 Pro was powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
