The Russo brothers said that they could deliver a more engaging Avengers game. In an interview on the subject, Joe Russo stated that they would ‘definitely be open to new gameplay’. The directors also said they are partnering with Fortnite developer Donald Mustard to explore new ways of storytelling.
‘We’re really interested in new ways to tell stories using technology,’ Russo said. Accordingly, he also addressed the game’s potential to merge with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The success of Infinity War and Endgame could make this game bigger.
