In June, itel launched its latest S-series smartphone, the itel S23, in India. Today, the company announced that it will launch the itel S23+ with significant specifications soon in Africa first, then in India. According to the official announcements and rumors, the phone will be a good option if you’re looking for a mid-range smartphone. Here are the details about the specs and pricing of the itel S23+ in India…
itel S23+ will feature Apple’s Dynamic Island-like Dynamic Bar
Earlier, we saw that a few phone manufacturers introduced their own Apple’s Dynamic Island-like feature, including Realme C51‘s mini-capsule. Thanks to this feature, itel S23+ will allow users to check notifications for incoming calls, reminders, and battery status. However, the feature is not expected to be available at the launch, and it will be included with software updates.
When we look at the display of the upcoming smartphone, we can see that it will feature a 6.78-inch FullHD+ curved always-on AMOLED screen with 500 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Compared to the standard version of the phone series, the S23 which has a 6.6-inch display, the Plus model will have a bigger display.
The itel S23+ will be powered by Unisoc T616 SoC, also it will have 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage. Moreover, the brand says the S23+ will have Atom Storage Technology that “automatically detects and organizes fragmented data on your phone, so you don’t have to worry about your phone’s performance getting worse over time.”
The itel S23+ costs around $120 for worldwide availability and will first be released in Africa. The launch in India is expected in the upcoming weeks.
