Elon Musk recently canceled his Twitter purchase and was sued on top of it. Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey will also take part in the legal battle that will begin between Elon Musk and Twitter. Elon Musk bought the Twitter platform on paper for $44 billion in the past months and adjusted the money for it, but the sale did not take place.

Normally the purchase was expected towards the end of the year. However, in a surprise announcement last month, Musk announced that the Twitter deal was temporarily suspended, awaiting confirmation as to whether spam/fake accounts represent less than 5 percent of users. This verification has not come fully.
Parag Agrawal, the CEO of Twitter, made some statements last month, but these did not please Musk. As it turns out, Elon Musk’s lawyers have officially summoned Dorsey to the first court to be held. It is unknown what Dorsey will present to the court on this issue. However, the former CEO may inform the court specifically about bot accounts.
Bot accounts are the center of this legal battle. Elon Musk also made a call to the current Twitter CEO. Last week, Musk called Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal into a public “spam/bot” account discussion. “Let Twitter prove to the public that it has less than 5% fake or spammy daily users,” said Musk, who did not receive a positive response to this call. Twitter CEO did not have such a discussion on a matter that has been moved to the legal level.
The first hearing for the lawsuit between Twitter and Elon Musk will be held on October 17. Musk and his team had previously requested that the case be postponed to 2023, but this was not accepted. A five-day hearing is reportedly scheduled for October 17, with both sides hearing in detail.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk recently made another serious sale, despite stating that he does not plan to sell more Tesla shares in April. It was reported that Musk sold “7,924,107” Tesla shares with a total value of $ 6.9 billion between August 5-9. Musk is making these share sales in connection with Twitter events.
