At CES 2025, Japan-based Yukai Engineering unveiled a creative new product called Nékojita FuFu. The device, which looks quite cute, can be placed on the edge of cups or bowls and blow gently to cool your hot food and drinks.
The Japanese “Nékojita FuFu” robot, unveiled at CES 2025, can cool your food and drinks..
In fact, the idea for FuFu originated at a marathon event. After a team leader experienced shortness of breath and dizziness while cooling his child’s hot food, the idea of designing a device that could safely and effectively cool food was born.
“FuFu”, whose name is derived from a Japanese word that mimics the sound of blowing, is quite functional. It’s a solution to a problem that everyone suffers from, but no one ever mentions. This little robot is equipped with a built-in fan and has different “breathing” modes. For example:
- Princess mode: Starts with a slow and delicate puff and increases in intensity.
- “Look at this!” mode: Gradually increases the blowing speed, pretending to be fascinated by the appearance of the food.
Yukai Engineering also noted that these blowing modes can be improved and adjusted before launch. Meanwhile, in the past, the company’s Amagami Ham Ham product (in the image below) has also attracted a lot of attention by gently biting users’ fingers, creating an interesting feeling of happiness.
Nékojita FuFu, the blowing cat, will be available in Japan at the end of 2025, with a price tag of around 25 dollars (approximately 184 TL). At CES 2025, the company also unveiled another robot called Mirumi (pictured below). Mirumi, too, is able to observe and react to its surroundings by wrapping itself around the handles of bags.
