With the latest announcements, the June 2024 update has now been released for the Galaxy A55 as well.

The security update, which does not bring any new features, reportedly fixes 59 security vulnerabilities. The update, with model number A556BXXS3AXF2, has been released in the European market. If your device has not received the update yet, it is likely to receive it soon.

The Galaxy A55 may have received the update later than other models because it is the first phone to offer Samsung’s seamless update support. Seamless updates can be downloaded and installed in the background while using the device, eliminating the need to restart the phone and wait for the update to install.
