Keanu Reeves, who starred in the original Constantine, is preparing for the return of the film. The long-awaited sequel is now very close to becoming a reality. The producers of the first film have shared some important statements.
Constantine 2 is one step closer to becoming a reality
The first Constantine movie, released in 2005 and starring Keanu Reeves, has built a large fanbase over the past twenty years. Recently, director Francis Lawrence stated that he, Reeves, and producer Akiva Goldsman have been working to bring the sequel to the big screen.

Lawrence made significant remarks about the project, saying, “We’re closer than ever to making a sequel, which is fantastic.” He also mentioned that the team is drawing inspiration from the comic books, but a large portion of the story will be developed further compared to the first film.
This development gained more significance after producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed last year that he had received a script for the sequel.
For those who don’t know, Constantine was adapted from DC Comics’ Hellblazer comic book series. In addition to Keanu Reeves, the film featured notable actors like Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, and Peter Stormare. Francis Lawrence directed the film.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. had been working on game concepts featuring DC heroes, including The Flash and possibly John Constantine. However, due to budget constraints and development schedules, these projects did not progress.
