The popular streaming platform Kick, which is increasingly competing with Twitch, continues to attract attention with its new features. Today, Kick announced its new AI moderation system. This system, which is now available for use, is specifically designed to address disruptive users in chat. Here are the details of the Kick AI moderation system…
Kick’s AI Moderator Offers Multiple Filtering Options
One of the biggest challenges for streamers is dealing with “trolls” in the chat. These users who send inappropriate or irrelevant messages not only disrupt the broadcast but can also annoy other viewers. To address this issue, Kick has introduced a new AI moderation system.
The system is optional and can be activated at your discretion. To enable this feature, you need to go to the Creator Panel, click on Community, and then select Chat Settings.
Once in the settings, you will see the AI Moderation option. According to the description, the system will detect harmful or unwanted messages based on your community preferences and block them. Messages removed by the system will be marked as “deleted by AI.”
The AI moderation system can be used for various potential issues including sexual content, hate speech, violence, bullying, drugs, weapons, and spam. You can choose the level of filtering: more filtering, some filtering, or full filtering. The full filtering option can create a very strict chat environment.
