Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 release date has been postponed to 2025
The release date of Warhorse Studios’ popular action RPG Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been postponed to February 11, 2025 by the development team. The studio stated that the game is aiming for the end of 2024, but this date will not meet expectations. Tobias Stolz-Zwilling stated in the video he shared on the X platform, “We were aiming for the end of the year and we almost did it. But it’s not nearly enough, so we’ve moved to 2025.”
Despite the game being delayed, there are also exciting developments regarding Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The game, which will take the stage at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event on August 20, will be released with a 20-minute gameplay video on August 21.
The story of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will continue the adventures of the first game’s hero, Henry of Skillitz, in medieval Bohemia. Henry, who tries to adapt to his new life as a knight after experiencing successive difficulties, will once again bring players together with a gripping story. Players will be able to experience the realistic atmosphere of the Middle Ages again and move freely in the open world.
Although the game’s delay disappointed fans, it is thought that Warhorse Studios made this decision in order to provide the best experience to players. It is stated that the studio will evaluate this extra time to improve the quality of the game and clean it from technical errors.
