Lamborghini may be working on high-ground, off-road versions of the new Temerario, the model that will replace the legendary V12 Revuelto and Huracán. Speaking to Autocar, Lamborghini Sales and Marketing Chief Federico Foschini revealed that the brand is planning “wilder” new models following the success of the Huracán Sterrato. Here are the details.
New Versions for Lamborghini Revuelto and Temerario
While Lamborghini will be the best-selling car brand in its sixty-year history by 2024, Foschini stated that their new strategy is to excite customers without significantly increasing sales figures. The brand aims to achieve this balance by offering special editions and increasing customization options.

“We want to maintain exclusivity,” Foschini said, explaining that their primary goal is to increase profitability while maintaining stable sales. As part of this strategy, the brand has established a new paint shop, increasing the number of colors available for the Temerario and Revuelto to 400.
Lamborghini’s sales and marketing chief emphasized the Huracán Sterrato’s resounding success, but stated that he believes the concept’s potential hasn’t been fully exploited. Foschini’s words all but guarantee the return of the Sterrato badge. “We know it’s ready, the market is there,” Foschini said, adding that the only obstacle is “making it happen.”
Foschini hinted that they wouldn’t be limited to just the Sterrato version of the Temerario, the Huracán’s successor. He said these “crazy” limited-edition versions could include both the Urus SUV and the flagship Revuelto.
Foschini added that the brand isn’t limited to model derivatives; he’s “constantly looking for something crazy in every dimension.” This vision suggests that Lamborghini will continue to pique the interest of premium car enthusiasts in the coming years with “crazy” limited-edition series, in addition to its standard models, focused on more experimental and niche markets.
