Google Chrome has closed 4 important security vulnerabilities with its latest update. These vulnerabilities posed threats that could have allowed malicious actors to gain unauthorized access to user systems and steal personal information.

The closed vulnerabilities include two “Type Confusion” in the V8 JavaScript engine and two “Heap buffer overflow” in the Skia graphics library. These vulnerabilities were especially critical for the security of users. Google also rewarded the security researchers who reported the vulnerabilities.

The update will be released gradually for Windows, Mac and Linux users. It is emphasized that users should update their Chrome browsers to the latest version (128.0.6613.113/.114) and protect themselves from potential security risks.
