Indian technology company Lava introduced its first smartwatches Prowatch VN and Prowatch ZN. The new products are quite similar to popular smartwatches such as Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch. There is even a possibility that they will enter Turkey under the General Mobile brand.
Lava Prowatch VN and Prowatch ZN technical specifications
The more expensive of the two models, the Prowatch ZN, has a rounded shape and is made of zinc alloy. It has a 1.43-inch OLED display, 466 x 466 pixel resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection.
Lava’s new Prowatch ZN smartwatch features a wide range of sensors, including SpO2, step counter and other sensors that can measure stress and sleep. Powered by a 350 mAh battery, the wearable promises up to 7 days of endurance with normal use or 3 days with Bluetooth enabled.
The Prowatch VN, on the other hand, has a rectangular design and a 1.96-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 386 pixels, a refresh rate of 6 0Hz and a brightness of 500 nits. Like the ZN, it is made of zinc alloy and has the same sensors for tracking and measuring. Powered by a 230 mAh battery, the watch lasts up to 5 days with normal use or 2 days with Bluetooth enabled.
The Prowatch ZN and Prowatch VN also have IP68 and IP67 ratings. The former will be available in India for as low as 5,000 rupees ($60), while the latter will be priced at 4,000 rupees ($48 USD).
If they come to Turkey together with General Mobile, it is thought that Prowatch ZN and Prowatch VN may have a price scale between 2000-4000 TL. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
