Tesla plans to lay off thousands of employees

The company, where Elon Musk is the CEO, went through a difficult period in the face of price competition from many Chinese manufacturers, including BYD . Tesla sold fewer vehicles annually for the first time in four years. This affected investors’ confidence in the company. It seems that the company is going to downsize because it is experiencing a decline. So much so that Tesla plans to lay off more than 10 percent of its global workforce. This means that at least 14.000 people out of a total of 140.473 employees will lose their jobs.
