Following yesterday’s official posts, the technology world’s attention has turned to the new DJI Osmo Pocket 4 model, which will be introduced on April 16. Shortly before the official debut of the device, numerous new photos of the camera were shared by Igor Bogdanov, known for his technology leaks. These new images indicate that a new era will begin in the compact camera market. While there isn’t a massive surprise waiting for users in terms of design, quite ambitious innovations stand out in the internal hardware.
Powerful Sensor and High Storage Capacity
The next-generation camera is being developed based on a 1-inch sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range to increase image quality. To solve the problem of storing large files for users, 107 GB of internal storage space is being added to the device. This large storage unit will also offer a very high transfer speed of 800 MB/s, accelerating the content creation process for professionals.
Standing out with its video shooting capabilities, the device provides users with 2x lossless zoom and can shoot in 10-bit D-Log for color grading. Like existing models, the camera carries a screen that can be used vertically or horizontally and can perform effective image stabilization across three axes for shake-free videos. Additionally, the dual-camera “Pro” version to be added to the series will be released with a highly advanced autofocus and auto-tracking system.
Leaked information also includes that a special LED light accessory is being prepared for those who want to increase quality in night shots. Supported by this accessory, which will provide a great advantage in low-light conditions, the product will officially be offered for sale in Turkey in the coming period.
