A case claimed to be designed for the iPhone 15 Pro Max reveals the device’s chassis design. Accordingly, Apple seems to be transitioning to a button instead of the iconic Mute Key on the new generation iPhone models.
iPhone 15 Pro Max bids farewell to Lightning and the Mute Key
A new leak from India showcases the iPhone 15 Pro Max case. It is believed that the solid-state button replaces the mute switch found in previous iPhone models. It is also expected that this button will be “customizable.”
The shared case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max reveals another change. Instead of the Lightning connector at the bottom of the device, it seems to feature a USB Type-C port. This change follows the decision of the European Union, which compels the iPhone series to adopt the same standards as other brands.
Another significant design change observed in the leak is the increased size of the camera bump on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This bump suggests a significant camera upgrade may be in store. Previous rumors claimed that Apple was developing a main camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels.
Additionally, the speaker grille at the bottom appears to be enlarged. This indicates that the audio quality of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be much better. Nevertheless, it can be said that there isn’t a significant departure from previous iPhone designs.
The new series will include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Max, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The launch is expected to take place between September and October.
