According to reports, the company was planning to disband this department and put the series on hold indefinitely because it didn’t get the expected returns. End of the road for Lenovo Legion gaming phones!
Last weekend, a person (claiming to work at Lenovo) said that the company would permanently shut down the department called the gaming phone department. He even claimed that the model expected to be introduced in the near future was canceled and the project was send to trash.
Following these allegations, tech media asked Lenovo whether they would make a statement about the issue. Lenovo did not respond to the questions initially posed. But they confirmed today that they had indeed terminated the Legion phone business.

Currently, there are not many brands that focus on producing gaming phones. With the suspension of the Lenovo Legion series, only a few names remain.
