The first concept Lenovo introduced is the ThinkPad Rollable XD, designed for the business sector. This device features both an expandable screen facing the user and a second, outward-facing display. The Legion Pro Rollable Concept is an ambitious model designed for professional e-sports players, combining high performance with flexibility. The device comes with a standard 16-inch PureSight OLED gaming display, which can incredibly expand into a massive 24-inch screen in Arena mode.
While performance details for the ThinkPad concept remain uncertain, the Legion model is said to draw its power from the Legion Pro 7i. This suggests the device will feature top-tier Intel Core Ultra processors and a powerful graphics card like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. Moreover, the screen’s expansion is managed by a dual-motor system designed to minimize vibration and noise.
Although both devices are currently in the concept stage, the potential for Lenovo to turn these ideas into commercial products in the future is quite high.
