Despite being in early access, Lethal Company continues to captivate players with its unique blend of horror and humor. The multiplayer horror game developed by Zeekerss recently announced its version 45 update, which promises a number of fun and scary additions to enhance the gameplay experience.
Arachnophobia mode added to Lethal Company gave players a good laugh
In Lethal Company, players cooperate in teams of four to explore various moons and collect scrap to pay off a menacing corporation. The dangerous game features deadly traps, monsters and a variety of items to help players.
The update introduces a number of new elements, including spray paint, killer toy soldiers, and dramatic masks that bear an uncanny resemblance to SCP-035 from the SCP Corporation, adding an eerie dimension to the game.
But the highlight of the update is undoubtedly the addition of arachnophobia mode. The game’s multiplayer horror experience includes encounters with giant spiders lurking in dark corridors, ready to trap unsuspecting novices.
To cater to players with arachnophobia, the new setting allows them to replace the menacing spiders with a more lighthearted and less fear-inducing alternative, simply changing it to the word ‘spider’. This humorous change shows the developer’s commitment to adapting to different player audiences and providing an enjoyable experience for all.
The patch notes for Update 45 reveal a number of other changes, including the addition of alchemy bottles, toy soldiers equipped with weapons, and improvements to the Mansion map generation. One feature in the game, rail cheese, has been significantly changed, while avoiding the jungle giant has become easier. Aside from the key bind settings, a nice twist has been introduced for the item delivery ship, which adds a touch of whimsy to the game mechanics.
Who knows what fun elements the game will have when it comes out of early access… What do you think? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments.
