LG has added two new models to its gaming-focused UltraGear OLED monitor series. The monitors named 45GX90SA and 39GX90SA stand out with their high refresh rate, low response time and ultra-wide curved screen design. Both models come with an OLED panel with a 21:9 ratio and 3440×1440 resolution.
LG introduced its new UltraGear gaming monitors
The 45-inch version of the new models appeals to those who want a larger screen, while the 39-inch option offers a more compact gaming experience. Both monitors have an 800R degree curvature. Thus, the user’s peripheral field of vision is covered, providing a more immersive gaming experience.

With a 240Hz refresh rate and a response time of only 0.03 milliseconds, it provides an advantage especially in competitive games that require fast reflexes. The devices, which also come with powerful hardware in terms of HDR features, have VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and can offer up to 1300 nits of brightness.
In terms of color accuracy, the screens that cover 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut significantly increase visual quality. Thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync support, image tearing and delays are minimized.
Models running LG’s webOS 24 platform can access digital content services such as Netflix and YouTube without a computer connection. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C options are also offered on the connection side.
The 45-inch LG UltraGear OLED model is on sale for $1,699, while the 39-inch model is on sale for $1,599. So what do you think about these devices? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
