LG has introduced the LG Easy TV, a new television model aimed directly at the elderly population. This special model will initially be available in the South Korean market. Based on the LG QNED Evo QNED85A Mini LED 4K Smart TV, the LG Easy TV has been specifically designed for ease of use by older users.

The TV offers a simpler home screen instead of complex menus and features larger-than-normal fonts. It also features a small number of apps for basic needs.

The product is equipped with a camera for video calling with family members. The picture settings are reportedly optimized for brighter brightness and clearer sound. The Easy TV can also trigger reminders to remind users to take their medication or water the plants.
The TV is initially available in two sizes: 65 inches and 75 inches. Plans are for it to be rolled out to markets outside of South Korea later. The remote control included with the LG Easy TV also features larger fonts. The brand anticipates achieving high sales figures with this model, particularly in markets with a large elderly population, such as Japan.
LG previously made significant TV announcements at CES 2025. The company’s 2025 OLED Evo TV series attracted attention for offering a full 165Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution. LG promises a premium gaming experience with these TVs, which support NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.
