LG Display has started mass production of its new 45-inch OLED monitor panel developed for gamers and professional users. The product, which has a resolution of 5K2K (5120×2160), will be the model with the highest pixel density among gaming-focused OLED displays.
LG is here with its giant-screen gaming monitor
The screen, which has five times the pixels of Full HD and 1.3 times the pixels of Ultra HD, will take the gaming experience to the next level by offering detailed and sharp images. One of the most striking features of the screen is that it can reach a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a record among OLED panels. This high brightness level increases the contrast ratio, offering more vivid colors and deep black tones.

The monitor will use LG’s Dynamic Frequency & Resolution (DFR) technology. This technology offers users two different display modes, providing great flexibility in terms of both speed and visual quality. Thus, users will be able to easily change display modes according to their needs.
The model provides a wider field of view compared to standard 16:9 screens with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This feature provides a more immersive experience while playing games and supports professional work processes by facilitating the use of multiple windows.
It is stated that the screen emits 50% less blue light compared to LCD panels thanks to OLED technology. This reduces eye fatigue during long-term use and provides a more comfortable viewing experience by eliminating screen vibrations.
LG Display is developing panels of different sizes from 27 inches to 45 inches in line with its plans to expand its gaming-focused OLED screen series. The company will gain a stronger position in the high-end gaming monitor market with these panels. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
