LG is expanding its smart monitor series with the new Smart Monitor Swing model. The new model, which focuses on the portable usage experience, comes on a special stand equipped with small wheels. The brand was inspired by the StanbyMe series it previously launched in this design.
LG announced its new portable monitor model
The new model has a 32-inch touchscreen and offers 4K resolution support. The device, which uses an IPS LCD panel, can be easily taken to different areas thanks to its portable stand. Connection options include three USB Type-C ports and two HDMI inputs.

One of the USB-C ports can also charge laptops by providing 65W power transfer support. A hidden adapter design is used on the back of the monitor to reduce cable clutter.
Smart Monitor Swing works with LG’s own webOS operating system. Thus, users can directly access popular applications such as YouTube and Microsoft Office. In addition, thanks to cloud-based computer services support, the monitor can be used completely independently without the need for an external computer.
Although it resembles the StanbyMe series with its structure that integrates the screen into a wheeled stand, this model does not have features such as a remote control and internal battery. The LG Smart Monitor Swing, which is currently only introduced in South Korea, has been announced to be around $735.
