LG Display will introduce its new generation display solutions developed for the automotive sector at the SID 2025 event. The fair, which will start on May 13, will bring together industry professionals for three days.
LG introduces new generation car displays
One of the most striking products among the displays to be exhibited at the fair will be LG’s stretchable OLED display that can expand up to 50%. This display stands out with its 100 ppi resolution and full RGB color presentation.

The system, which is seamlessly integrated into the in-car design, eliminates the boundaries between displays and physical buttons. Ease of use is also increased with 3D projection technology that can be activated by touch.
LG Display will also exhibit its 57-inch “Pillar to Pillar” display, which extends from the driver’s seat to the passenger side, for the first time. This single-panel widescreen display combines in-car infotainment systems with driving data.
Another innovative solution will be the 18-inch slideable OLED display placed on the vehicle roof. This panel, which opens only when needed, offers a new standard in in-car entertainment with its high image quality.
All products to be exhibited have been developed to work flawlessly even in temperature conditions ranging from -40°C to 85°C. LG Display will also introduce Switchable Privacy Mode, which aims to prevent driver distraction. Thanks to this technology, the passenger screen can be hidden from the driver’s view.
